Not me. I pay for Geekzone because I value it and I use it all the time. A site I pass through occasionally because a search sent me there is not getting a thing from me on the basis that I just happened to link to it. I am old enough to remember when there was no advertising on the Internet at all, and it still worked perfectly fine. This idea that web sites cannot exist without ads is BS to me. Apart from that, ads are a way of injecting malware into your system. They don't bother mentioning that when they pop over their begging pages.
There are many ways to get around popover annoyances. I keep a javascript switcher extension on my browser and just turn it off when a popover gets in my way. That also turns off videos and other stuff, but it is a good solution when I just want to read something without being bothered. Another extension lets you selectively disable page elements. You can also do this with browser commands.
