Geektastic:

We could just start making the tripe up ourselves:

The New Zealand Herald! Is it a great Newspaper? No.

Are New Zealand papers worth reading? No.

Breaking News! It's raining in Gore.

The NZ Herald - free cat litter tray liner every issue!

A woman in Timaru today complained that the pie she bought was steak and cheese, not mince and cheese. "It's disgusting. I've never been treated like this! They should be ashamed. My friend on social media agreed!

Next - What The Internet Thought of the Hot Pie incident - you'll be amazed!

That's good material - are you sure you don't work for AH?

Most of the posters in this thread are just like chimpanzees on MDMA, full of feelings of bonhomie, joy, and optimism. Fred99 8/4/21

A lot if it is 'former all black'.

You can play one test and get that 'occupation' added on to your drink driving story, assault charge or whatever.

And then get a lighter sentence!

kingdragonfly: "A coffin, mayor, poetry, bagpiper: Beloved bisexual goose's funeral draws community"

Was it really necessary to mention the goose was bisexual in the headline?

https://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/news/101558363/a-coffin-mayor-poetry-bagpiper-beloved-bisexual-gooses-funeral-draws-community

Daily Mail in Australia went a couple of steps further with "Blind bisexual goose named Thomas who spent six years in a love triangle with two swans and helped raise 68 babies dies at the ripe old age of 40".

uh..

No it isn't.  Well it could be described to have been heading from the WA in a WSW direction, weather patterns do tend to come from the west, but the chance of "Kelvin" having any impact on NZ weather that would be noticed as "extreme" is close to zero.  The twitter post that the journalists from The Herald used as basis for their sensational headline suggests that "remnant moisture" from Kelvin (which will be long gone) may move onto the SI early next week.  Kelvin itself will be long gone and the moist flow that possibly will impact on the SI is coming from the tropics - not from Aus.

You keep thinking they can't get worse, but they do. Here is one from the Herald about a skater flashing her bum - except she didn't. The article concludes by pointing out she was wearing sensible underwear. She's a figure skater, for chrissake. Of course she is going to show some thigh. They don't skate in burkas, at least not at the Olympics.

How do the writers of that crap keep their food down?

I won't give this POS the dignity of providing a link. It is easy enough to find if you really must.

Not in their wildest dreams is a "wardrobe malfunction" resulting in a breast being exposed (gasp!) "X-rated".

How they keep their food down?  It's a wonder they can get any down in the first place, when ramming it all up their own nostrils or in their ear-holes is much better attention-seeking behaviour.

Did she slip onto her dance partner who also had a wardrobe malfunction at the same time then proceed to get jiggy with it on the ice?

Everyone seems to be upset by this photo and how she's made to stand in the freezing cold dressed in nothing but evening wear.

No one put a gun to her to do that.

She's an A list actress, and a mature woman.

It's her body and her choice.

You see this here in winter too. If I say you look very cool, it goes over her head.

Yup - so did I. From her tweet, I deduced that she's a saleswoman for Versace.

No idea who any of them are. As you say, don't care either.
