Now that is odd. Personally I like runny scrambled eggs (with cream and butter...) but my wife would love that - she likes hers overdone like eggy ball bearings!

As a child I used to get my mother to fry only the yolks when she did eggs for us!

I'm genuinely surprised and sorry to hear that another poster had a mother who would belt them around the head or resort to use the "jug cord".
