Why on earth do companies feel the need to randomly rename things? Sprite Zero is now apparently "No Sugar Lemon-Lime Sprite" (what a mouthful!).

Probably to bring it in line with coke and its no sugar branding when they have moved to a different sweetner. Also there are different sprite flavours in the rest of the world so probably standardizing on the branding.

Ugh, I hate this "Coke No Sugar" name. Apparently NZ is one of the few countries that uses it (maybe they're going to roll it out more widely over time). I had got used to ordering it here (even though it's a mouthful and isn't as easy to say as "Diet Coke") and on a recent trip to the UK I asked for it and got a blank stare from the lady behind the counter. Seems it hasn't reached the UK yet, where they still have Diet Coke.

Diet Coke.

It is disgusting. Coke Zero or Coke No Sugar are OK but that Diet thing. Yuck.

Especially the silent ones. much more difficult to track down. Though actually the noisy ones seem nimbler, so actually just all of them.

I hate flies, but I hate blowflies the worst.

A long time ago when I was farming, some were big enough, you could saddle them, and use them to round up the cows at milking time.

Firefox not having a built in zoom, far as I can see, and the add-in I added sometimes doesn't work when doing control-tab or whatever it is to open a new tab from an existing one, so everything is too small to read (easily).

Some content won't always zoom, depending on the page construction, but in general Ctrl + mouse wheel zooms and Ctrl + 0 returns you to 100%.

Thanks. Works well, just have to remember it. Pity it happens here when I click on an item when I'm logged in. Such is life.

I'm quite the opposite...and not being able to get Diet Coke when I want it and only having that Zero or No Sugar rubbish available.

I drink a lot more water as a result.

I've been told there's horsefly / deerfly / gladfly / March fly in New Zealand, but I've never seen them.

The females bite and drink blood, not only from deer and horses, but people.

Trust me, it's not like being pierced with a mosquito needle. Large animals and livestock bitten by horse-flies are generally powerless to dislodge the fly, so there is no selective advantage for the flies to evolve a less immediately painful bite.

They're big and tough. I remember swatting one that bit me on my arm full force, and it just flew off unscathed.

Spark's Shops

(and I can't believe I needed to dig out Internet Explorer to enter that link above as the 3 times I tried in Chrome led to the previous comment!)

People who complain about TinyMCE and BBCode.

@jamesrt:

TinyMCE and BBCode, clearly!

Really? Is doing this that hard?

Actually, yes.  Putting aside your sarcasm (which is my weapon of choice, and I don't mind!), it doesn't actually work.

On the laptop I'm using, which is Windows 10 1909 (fresh update this morning), and latest chrome (I checked), when I click the link button nothing happens.

When I go to the upstream "tiny.cloud", the demo editor doesn't work either - none of the menu's do anything.

I've tried various things, including tethering to my phone (in order to bypass potential firewall/proxy issues), AND I even created a new user account on the laptop, logged into that, and it STILL doesn't work - so nothing to do with MY chrome profile.

Therefore, yes; it was too hard because it didn't work.

Something is broken somewhere - maybe not in Geekzone itself, but TinyMCE upstream with Chrome latest on Windows 10 1909 is broken.

And I've done about as much as I can do to troubleshoot short of creating a ticket on the TinyMCE github, and I couldn't be arsed doing that.

I always use Chrome latest and Windows latest... And it just works (TM). I would say it's something on your laptop - a group policy somewhere.
