Pastrami sandwich at Kratzs Deli in New York.

I don't think I'll be able to eat the disgusting stuff from the supermarket ever again (or move for 10 minutes or so).

Haha at Snax and Fattrav on the back of the old fridge (?). I hope you were suitably accompanied throughout this work - would hate you to get the H&S rep on your back.

Yeah mate, it's the old electrode cabinet from AFV, finally done it's dash and making it's way to the door.

Have to play the h&s game when you're the PWF!

Watching tonight’s One News. A segment on Aussie cricketer Steve Smith not being able to participate in the third Ashes test due to a nasty concussion received in the second.

At the press conference the Aussie Coach said “Really it was a no-brainer”.

(Disclaimer: Head injuries must be taken seriously and of themselves are no laughing matter.)

Great turns of phrase:

As Boris J said overnight about the further negotiations on Brexit within the small time window until 31 Oct:

“It’s generally in the final furlong when the horses change places and the winning deal appears.”

As @Dingbatt said in a GZ post this morning about SkyTV responding to market pressures:

“ ... there needed to be a small course correction a while back rather than "full left rudder" just as the iceberg touches the bow.”

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

But he returned to the crease after being hit. Clearly the tests done at the time were inadequate. https://www.mykhel.com/cricket/ashes-2019-q-and-a-on-concussion-following-steve-smith-injury-124993.html has some interesting commentary.

My recently acquired Swazi jacket - a Wind River.

Excellent jacket and, unlike the cheaper Chinese made ones in most outdoor stores, this one was made in Levin!

Swazi gear is excellent stuff for anyone spending time outdoors.
