BlackMael: I plan to attach this WiFi router to a lanyard and hang it around my neck for all the world to gaze upon my awesome bling!
(Little USB flash drives around my neck are so last decade!)

If you read back, I already said bling >.<

This is the 2nd time I have mentioned it.

Embarassed Sigh... What can I say?  It's been a long day and I couldn't be bothered to hunt down prior art.  My apologies for stepping on your toes.

I would set it up at Uni without encryption and see how many people connect to it as a social experiment. I would test this by moving it from dept to dept to determine who are the biggest leachers. I bet it would be Political Science.

I would probably let someone else use it, who doesn't already have mobile data themselves.

In our family we have one ipod touch 2 laptops and 2 iphones. The number of times my kids expect to be able to play online games or use data while on long trips is crazy.

For my sanity and a significant reduction in the "Are we there yet"'s the Huawei would be awesome.

Plus I just think its cool

"Are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet?"

Would use it as a second data connection on a cellphone  rather than using 3g data on the cell phone plan.

I would give it to my daughter to replace her current vodem. My ex-wife would probably also end up using it. Kind of a win-lose thing from my perspective!

kind regards Andrew TD

This would be a godsend for us up at the bach - there's no way that we're going to get anything resembling broadband when we're 15+km from the exchange :-)

Hmm being a stay at home dad is hard, I can definately use this helpful little device while looking after my son.
I could maybe distract him with it's colourful lights and let him play with it while I'm in the back room on my desktop.
or... I could use it on my laptop while keeping an eye on him at the same time.

I will go to a busy shopping mall and setup a free unsecured WiFi network and see how long the less than 2GB lasts :)
I will call it 2degrees4free

I would use it to dump our current *embarrassed shame* dial-up connection. Wired broadband is so expensive in our area.

Would find it most useful when travelling - saves withdrawal symptoms when disconnected from the internet; can use the laptop, the wifi phone in bed in the middle of the night etc etc.....
