So the flatmate is not to happy
He purchased a kindle voyage back in oct/november from DSE, now it has stop working and pi**ed that if he takes it back to DSE he will just be an "unsecured creditor".
Do you think if he contacts amazon about it they will do something?
That is ironic, because when someone asked me the best place to buy a kindle, I said Amazon. But they disagreed, and said that DSE would be, because you would then be protected by the CGA if anything went wrong with it.
I guess they could contact amazon, but they may not help as it wasn't purchased through them. Or maybe contact whoever imports them into NZ or Oz, but I am guessing they are parallel imported by DSE. I am guessing that they would be required to provide the importers name upon request.
