Worse still, when it arrives, despite glowing reviews of comfort and sound quality, neither lives up to expectations!

Now that sucks. The risks of online shopping I guess. It is why I am dubious of buying shoes online except Allbirds, they include a return prepaid courier label with the product that valid up 30 days.

OMG I love AllBirds, I really wanted to buy a pair, but they don't do half sizes or the wool runners with any structural support so for me, they are AMAZING if I am walking on flat even surfaces, but anything else....

I have the impression that you have very exacting expectations. Not meant as a criticism but I suspect very little lives up to them. Maybe that is just your cross.

Or when you order three cases of wine from three different places - two of them arrived in a couple of days, using NZ Post Couriers. The third one is still sitting at some depot with PBT Couriers and hasn't moved for a couple of days now.

We live a privileged life, really, don't we?

Still annoying though

Some do. I am not contending it. I know some people can't buy a case of wine when they are thinking on what to have for dinner with family or what to give the kid to take to school. On the other hand having a little privilege doesn't mean you can't get annoyed when things aren't done the way they should be.

If we were to think like that then anyone that is not in a complete state of poverty would be required to not be either way content or unhappy. Almost like "You have to eat everything in your plate. Remember the hungry kids in Africa!"

Yes, sounds strange. What I meant is people who can't buy food for dinner tonight, even less a case or three of wine.

It's not just me then? I ordered some replacement wheels for an office chair after one broke. At least they finally arrived and I can stop using a dining chair.

Going out to a fine dinner with the intention of using my entertainment book discount to get $40 off.... but seeing only one other diner at this very nice restaurant at peak hour, I feel sorry for them so don't claim the discount which expires next week ........  i don't know why they were so empty...... people are allowed to dine out now.

My new laptop has a shorter power cord than the old one. That's annoying.

This is a conundrum for us...do we go out and support businesses and then use the vouchers that we have paid for in good faith, or do we simply pay full price and chalk it up as a way of supporting the regrowth of our economy.

In fairness, we've probably had our money's worth out of our Entertainment book.
