The pollen season is only 34 weeks long, it'll be gone in a jiffy :-)

Windows updates needing a restart, and knowing it will "break" everything again.

Which once again will take an hour or 3 of my life to get everything I run working again.

(As an example: Why do they renumber input and output devices randomly on every reboot?)

TheMantis:

100% agree re: meat trays. New World (at least where I live) are too cheap to invest in a vacuum sealer. Another issue is that the eco-plastic meat trays are moulded in such a way that when cleaning, water from the tap catches the ribbing of the plastic and sprays meat juice everywhere if you're not careful.

My New World uses the "new" meat trays I think, we don't buy a lot of meat at Supermarkets so I can't 100% confirm.

I think I may start a Windows 10 Annoyances thread! For a start, why the actual &(%^&(*% did they remove the ability to use the keyboard during initial setup. Now I have to use a mouse to scroll like a neatherthal instead of doing what I used to do and hitting N 5 times which took me to NZ! WHY!?!? Why would you remove that functionality. Not to mention a bunch of machines randomly after the latest update get a light theme which is horrible, when the dark was selected previously!? Why do my freaking monitors keep ending up my default audio device after a reboot, despite setting the audio card as default 100 times?!

The preceding are just some of the reasons I keep updates disabled (there are apps that do that). Not everyone has the same use case or needs.

And Candy %#@$& Crush whatever. I don't want it, I never want it yet I have to remove the sodding thing over and over again. Windows update is what has pushed me now only have one Windows device for client reasons, I have Apple and Linux machines.

The fact that the MyLotto website has been down all morning because it can’t handle the volume. Usually opens at 6:30 am but today won’t be up until late in the afternoon. Perhaps a first-world problem but also a bit pathetic on their part when their online customers have no other way to check their ticket.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Be a pretty short thread though, wouldn't there be just a single post that says "Yes"?

Just finished a pack of muffins.

Go to recycle the plastic tray....NOPE it's number 3, can't recycle it in Christchurch!

Off to landfill it goes :-(

Couplands (Christchurch based) SHOULD KNOW BETTER!

That's because they are either the wrong size or not correctly fitted.

So, filtered coffee then? ;-)

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
