freitasm: What happened?

Some bloke severed his hand with, what I expect the author means, a circular saw.  Also often generically referred to as a Skilsaw (a trademark).  Otherwise I have no idea what a 'skill saw' is.

Should have used a handsaw.

Would have been newsworthy if he'd managed to remove both hands.

Some of the jokes here seem a little out of place to me. I don't know if the guy was just stupid or not, but he did lose a hand. That is a pretty horrible thing to have happen.

Just a bit of armless banter.  Lots of humour is based on someone else's misfortune.

I’m one of the guilty but although I made a joke, I still have a lot of sympathy for him. Call it black humour.

At least he’s not armless.

Reminds me of the joke about the two lepers playing cards.

One threw his hand in and the other laughed his head off.

From a UK source.

“ The suspects were said to be wearing all black and armed with black, eight-inch-long handguns.
One was said to be around 5ft 9in with skin and a cockney accent.”

That should narrow it down ;-)

Having skin though, that narrows it right down

That’s what I was implying. How do you edit it to show in bold?

Look up BBCode.  It’s very quite funky.

There's a bbcode link in the quick reply box showing the subset supported by geekzone. Including bold and many other useful things..
