LG TVs put up a small notification in the top RH corner saying updates are available for some apps. It has an arrow you can click on to take you to relevant apps - but the notification is there for about two seconds, and before you can pick up the remote to click the arrow, it's gone. So you have to go into settings etc to find the apps. Grrr.

Which is everything these days.
Why can't everything be printed '20' size?

I swear it's a plot by millennials to finish everyone else off by printing instructions to survive the end of the world in a tiny green font on a purple background.

Or worse still a light grey font on an off white background.

A colleague wrote a report about employing environmental sustainability officer for our large organisation and linked it with similar organisations overseas who employ such roles and was shot down by the executive as not core business.

He continued working a some projects in his own time and found and fixed a gas leak which will now save the organisation $150,000 per year.... this leak has probably been there for at least the last 5yrs.....

Any thanks for the organisation? ...crickets....tumble weeds..

Redesigning a process to save gas would be something they could acknowledge. A leak is something that shouldn't have happened or existed for that length of time.

When a cafe asks whether you want your muffin heated, you say no, so they do it anyway.

Receiving an incorrect item from Amazon and rather than a replacement, the only remedy is a return/refund. Meaning that you are both out of pocket and out of said product for a further week or two.

Having to go through the process of re-ordering said product and hoping you receive the correct item this time.

I've got a colleague who sometimes gets himself into a technical pickle and calls for help, usually from me cos I'm a bit of a team lead in an area that baffles him

He calls, describes the problem - and then keeps talking......
Do you want help or just to keep me busy?
