Judging by what I just looked at in the Dom Post it seems as if most places are just carrying on their Boxing Day sale specials through the New Year.

warehouse stationary had the 2degrees silver back in stock. Harvy still has it at $48. PRICEMATCH!!

Also decent discount on labelmakers and a $25 cashback from dymo make it really cheap. They have that coupon thing where its one item per coupon but they had a stack to take at the counter.

Well I missed out on a couple of great deals through procrastination mainly and I am not sure they are going to be repeated for New Year.

1. Warehouse - PS3 12GB for $225 ( I think it was) - dithered because I am waiting for my original PS3 FAT 60GB to be repaired which is more fully featured but less reliable and has a noisy fan!

2. Harvey Norman - DeLonghi Nespresso (Pixie?) for $263 and there was still a $50 rebate on top of that. Held off because I already have a regular espresso machine and capsules are not as cheap as grinding your own coffee,

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

There don't really seem to be too many this year. The boxing day ones are the best ones, and there were a few good deals this year. The new years ones tend to be things like 50 months interest free, or quadruple flybuys etc, which are pretty meaningless to me.

I do see computer lounge has 7% off everything, which could be quite a good deal for somethings. You do however need the following promo code: NYNGCL7 , and it has some restrictions and terms etc.

This is Tab 2. Note 10.1 is a different model although still a very sharp price on the above model.

I've been after a labelmaker for a while and have been waiting for a special/cashback... I can't see the special on their site... What model(s) is/are it on please?

Brother often do a $30 cashback on their machines as well - combine that with a Warehouse coupon and it's a good buy

A few years back I got a brother labelmaker (which were $49.95 back then  - now $59.95) for 50% (coupon was 50% off one item under $50) and got $30 cashback. Net result was one labelmaker for free plus $5 cash

Current scheme (if the brother cashback was running) would be 30% off $60 = $42 less $30 cashback = $12 - still a good deal.

I remember seeing a tv ad for brother and cashbacks recently but can't see anything on their website and the cashback may only for printers.

I tried to get an additional 20% off (using the discount vouchers in the newspaper) but they said no - referring to very fine print under the vouchers in the paper that you need a magnifying glass to read. It excluded already discounted or promotional items. So you were very lucky to get another 20% off.
