I have been waiting for ages for this movie, and now its finally here. Event and Hoyts have advanced screenings this weekend.

The reviews so far have been extremely encouraging. Might be the best Marvel movie to date.

Judging by the trailers it looks like Marvel is trying too hard to be funny. Didn't really find the whole 12% of a plan thing funny at all when Star lord is arguing with RR. However that could be down to my own humour because I prefer black humour rather than deliberate jokes.

Edit: However, will still go and see it.

We won a 16 minute preview at Imax, wasn't going to see it, but decided after that we would definately see it, thanks for the reminder, I will be at Hoyts 8:30pm to see it in Sylvia Park.
