Ouch.  I just went to their website.  It doesn't look at all professional.  That flashing text gives me a headache.  I'm surprised you used them in the first place.

Oh I never used them..  Just a forward that I received at work.

Crazy though, you'd think people would learn that you never write rude things especially when a business is involved.

You were probably bottle feed till late teens

Nice and professional customer service!  Personally, as a rule, I don't use catering companies nor even cafes that misspell the names of dishes they provide (e.g. Skewered Melon and Proscutto).

What a great website too!  I think it needs more flashing animations!

I dont think a forwarded email like that serves as an accurate record. If one of the parties of the conversation was to post it, that would be different, but as it is, details can easily be changed, and no one is accountable. There is no reasonable way to know that a forwarded email is real, or even if it is, if what is portrayed was actually said.

I have removed the original email.

Oh my.

My head is still spinning with all that green and that flashing is terrible.
It seems a very negative website. The T & C are on every page.
Maybe they need to do a Kiwihost course.

Oh.

It's not breaching the rules [as far as I can see].

I googled both people that were involved in the email and both work for the said companies and both are real people.

No, there is no breach of rules here, but we still have some discretion to remove content that "just doesn't fit right".

Like I said, neither of the original people is here to confirm what was said, and world+dog can copy/paste anything into a forwarded email.

Cheers
Tony

The problem here is that it's very close to defamation. And this is a big problem because under New Zealand law, unlike the U.S. law, board and blog owners are responsible for content even if posted by third party.

If you want a rundown you can check Spareroom "Gourmet Food Store Lets Rip at Client via e-mail".

I do agree - thats probably teh worserest website I have ever seen, that is actually meant to seriously represent a business.

I simply could not do business with a company if I came across that while trying to choose a company and/or place an order.

It's been facinating to watch the hit counter increase at a blistering pace today on that tacky website today!
