Hi.

I thought it would be cool to start a thread where you can post POSITIVE Christmas stuff you see. Heart warming stories, cool pictures or videos.

I saw this today and thought it was pure awesome.

I can't believe that video has 22 dislikes. The Internet can be a real dick sometimes.

I *LOVE* Christmas, and it's helped by having two little kids in the house, though with busy lifestyles it's hard to get into the xmas spirit. Hopefully some others can share :)

Yeah, we love it here too. It always brings some much needed cheer, after a long year. And this year has been particularly challenging for us on a personal level, so I'm really looking forward to it. Especially considering we didn't get to spend it with our oldest daughter last year. The lucky bugger was over in Germany for 7 weeks.

Thanks for starting this thread. Hopefully it'll continue to bring more smiles to my dial :-)

I am not too proud to say that my guilty pleasure at xmas, is the movie Love Actually. I have seen it as many times as I've seen ANY other movie. I just love it, un apologetically. Liam Neeson is so awesome in it.

If you haven't seen it, I really recommend it.

Sorry to hear you haven't had a great year. I can't profess to having had any majors this year, but I am tired and looking forward to a break, despite having got back from the gold coast only 10 days ago.

I hope your Christmas is extra special!

This isn't 2015 new, but pretty awesome.

SNAP! Was talking to my daughter at lunch today. She wants to make us some Gluhwein (a traditional German Christmas drink, based around red wine) on Christmas Eve, so we can all sit down with a glass and watch a good Christmas movie. I suggested Love Actually. :-)

It's all relative. We still have our health (mostly; I was diagnosed Coeliac this year), and we're coming to the end of what has been a very stressful journey for us (I won't go into details here, as this is meant to be a positive thread). There are many far, far worse off than us.

I hope your Christmas is extra special!

I hope you and your family have an awesome one too! And that goes for all other fellow Geekzoners and their families.

This isn't SPECIFICALLY Christmas exclusively, but we were in the USA a few Christmas ago, shopping, when a solider surprised his mother, who was working at a shop we were in. It fitted in the top 10 things I've ever witnessed in terms of special. She was actually serving us and talking about how she wouldn't have her son home for xmas, and how hard it has been for them.. She thought we were in on it. Was incredible.

BEWARE. No matter how tough you think you are, you will likely blubber like a baby watching this.

If I keep posting like this, I might reach two milestones by the end of the year, 10,000 posts, and 2000 +1's :)

There are only 2 types of people in this world. Those that believe Die Hard is a Christmas movie and the others that are wrong. bring on John!

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

We watched that one last year as our Christmas movie. Good stuff.

I Watched the first 4 last year, managed to find them on Blu-Ray. I enjoyed it a lot. (I've of course seen them before).
