I Bought some tyres, paid and never heard back from the seller!  Guy logged in today, I tried to contact through his auctions, still wont reply! horrible! Seems he has done this stuff before. Over -150 negative feedbacks (wish I checked that before!). pzero / http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings.aspx?member=1031939.  I wonder how does trademe allow repeat offending sellers with hundreds of negative feedbacks to operate and continue to create a unsafe environment for other traders where unsuspecting trusting people can be ripped off!

So I contacted trademe, and yet to hear back from them! I have been using trademe for a long time now and day by day its only getting worse, I think I will take this up with the small claims court? any idea what step I should be taking to get the seller to pay up? Whats my best course of action? I mean this guy is ripping people out of thousands of dollars! He took my money, now wont respond or have the goods sent in a timely manner! I mean for every case thats reported there are 10 more that are not and in case of trademe, its just left with a negative feedback and forgotten!

Maybe best to talk to the police? I know they can request (and do) information from Trademe in regards to disputed transactions.

Also how did you pay? Can you dispute the transation with your bank?

I paid via internet banking sadly, if I could use pay now, via my visa then I guess I could do a charge back, also started a conversation on trademe, and seems the members there are conveying their lost trust on trademe and basically saying trademe will do squat.

I guess I will have to ask the police this weekend if it does not work out. Trademe should at least be pulling off all that said members listings and ask them to complete the trade they have taken the money for!

You need to lay a complaint with the Police, complaining here will achieve little.

Do I make the complaint with the police or the disputes tribunal?

have been reading up on this..

http://www.trademe.co.nz/help/778/how-to-make-a-disputes-tribunal-claim?h=778

Apparently they say I am meant to download a statutory declaration form and take it to my local court or something like that and then send it back? Would contacting the police be a faster option you'd think?

F%**! and trademe allows this S#%!

Called the police and basically this is a case of defraud and I was asked to take all the information I had of the buying process and take it to my nearest police station. If you guys have any other records of this guy selling rubbish and not going through with it, please put it through here so I can put the report in real good.

Just got off the phone from trademe,a bit hesitant but we did manage to work out a seniors investigations team to look into this persons account, they filed a non delivery report on my behalf and will be in touch with them. I sent him one more message that I will be reporting him to the police should he not reply, and just now I got a email back as usual of his other accounts "was on a holiday/out of town/overseas"..

Hi XXXXXXX,

My apologies as I just got back into Auckland today &

tracking # LA110223875NZ with NZ Parcel Post

Rdgs - D

Went to NZ Post tracking and it says no information available!

I dont know if this will actually come through and even if it does what the quality of the tyres will be.

It may take a few hours for the parcel status to be updated. Try again in a couple of hours.

Hmm does look dodgy, and lazy....

His comment:

Goods was in working condition when I sent it & please make insurance claim direct with couriers as was obviously damaged on transit

Which is dumb since he organised the courier, he has the contract with them.....

Tracking still havent worked.

You have been blacklisted by this member and cannot use this feature.

Beware if this scumbag thief member pzero on trademe- http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings.aspx?member=1031939

Has done this hundreds of times, Takes money and does not deliver the goods. gives false courier post numbers.

Trademe also being the damage control they are removed my post in their message board.

This scumbag is being allowed to trade in their site and scam people, may not be direct sponsored but its aiding a scammer or a defrauder by knowingly giving them a platform to operate out of.

ludez: Nzpost don't send tyres, neither do courierpost

You are very right it seems, the scumbag has blacklisted my account. :(

somebody ought to drop him a linky..
