Gene Wilder dies at 83.

I remember him from many movies but Hear no Evil See no Evil (Very Funny).

He was a true genius.

Yes, funny man.

A shame - although at least he had a reasonable innings and left us with great films to watch.

I'm sure it is not the case but it certainly feels as though we have lost more personalities this year than usual.

Yeah it had been a while since I had seen him, he was on Boston Legal for a brief time and though I was a child when I watched him in movies, and I am now an adult with Children, his face has many fond memories for me.

Yes I agree this year feels like significant loss after another. For a while I felt we were losing super talent without people to take their place, but in actual fact recently I've come to see that especially in acting, we have some previously average or cast type actors and actressess

stepping up to show they are genuine talents.

I just watched a clip of him on Stuff'd. I'd forgotten how brilliant he was. RIP and thanks for the laughter.

Yes, it was sad to hear of this yesterday. Young Frankenstein is my favourite Gene Wilder movie.
