Hi team,

I have a s7 edge and have a Nilkin Flip case on it.

I am able to use my apple style headphones ( probably fake one's) all good, all ok - no hassles at all.

But i cannot connect a simple 3.5mm to 3.5mm aux cable to my phone , simply because the 3.5mm, when inserted into the phone does not click / go inside fully.

i think the reason is becuase the black part of the aux cable is being stopped by case , so it doesnt get inserted fully.

In the case of the headphone, a tiny white bit of the 3.5mm goes inside and makes a "click" sound.

I am not able to get a click sound with a aux cable, and i have tried 3 different types of cables, spent about $25-$30 in the process, all waste.

can anyone please help me in this case.

( extra info in case you need it : am trying to connect phone to car's aux )

I have found that some cables have a much narrower part to get thru case holes.

So either find one of those, or drill the case bigger, or take a knife to the 3.5mm plug to make it smaller to pass thru the case hole enough.
