+1 for Smokey and the Bandit - still remember watching them with the old man.

 

That said, I would probably give the edge to Cannonball Run as my favourite Burt Reynold's flick - I love those movies.

 

And his cameo in Archer was *awesome*.

Yep, RIP Burt.

 

Deliverance, his best movie by a country mile (IMHO).

 

And then there was his excellent return to form in Boogie Nights.

 

Cannonball run is a sentimental favourite. I was a teenager selling ice creams at the theatre when it was released, so have seen this movie well over 20 times!

We seem to be losing a lot over the last two years. I guess I will have to watch The Bandit again.

We had spaghetti westerns and we had spaghetti movies that Burt did. Good wholesome fun. 

 

Missed, well worth a few re watches.
