As part of their 10th bday celebrations Google are displaying their search result index from 2001, you can view it at:

http://www.google.com/search2001.html


You might ask, why if it is their 10th bday are they not displaying the search result index from 1998. Apparently this is the oldest index they still have.

Found that out here a few days ago.

... and it's only the index! Oh well, the Internet Archive is where you need to go to get past versions of web pages if you need to.
