NZ grown Table Grapes.

I've seen USA, Chile, Australia grown ones (And buy) in the Supermarket. But have never seen any NZ grown ones there or at any fruit & vege place I've ever been to in Christchurch.

(The Australian ones I got yesterday (Green and Red) are very good.

I'm curious, can you get NZ grown ones?

Avoid any fruit from the US, which has been selectively bred for generations for maximum shelf life and appearance, which breeds out any trace of flavour. I've had fruit there where, if you blindfolded me, I couldn't have told you what it was I was eating. A friend there once took me to an orchard owned by an 80+ year old guy who still grew legacy/heirloom/heritage fruit and had the best nectarines she'd ever tasted... I didn't have the heart to tell her that this was what ordinary nectarines, at least outside the US, taste like all the time.

That's one great advantage of country-of-origin labelling, since "Product of USA" = "Don't buy".
