Any recommendations for a tailor in Christchurch for a suit jacket please?

And maybe shirts.

I've always had great service from Crane brothers.

Not cheap, but great quality

Do you not need trousers? Otherwise it would not be much of a suit...

Looking for a look which is more casual than a full suit, but more sharp than just a shirt, so tend to wear a suit jacket with tidy dark coloured jeans.

That’s what God invented the Sports Jacket for! Also the Blaser.

That's what God invented death and redundancy for. Find an opshop in a good suburb and check the racks. Sometimes near new.

OP asked for a tailor. I presume he intends to have something bespoke made.

Now I’ve discovered where to go, I’ll be in there like a rat up a drainpipe myself.

Yeah OK Sports Jacket/Blazer seems to be the correct term for what I'm after. But yes wanting something tailored. Still want something that fits very well rather than opshop "close enough".
