Perfect spot for them, and they've probably got pretty competitive rent since that block of shops has been fairly barren since pre-COVID. I know they'd opened quite a bit of it up when it was a Vaccination Centre, how much of the block does it seem like they have?

I've been cursing the lack of convenient PB Tech for Nor-West for a while. Unless I'm going into town, Albany and Glenfield are generally my gotos, because Henderson is awkward for parking.

Noticed this on the weekend too, looked like a big spacious shop. Will be good to have a look around inside when it's finally open.

Auckland has enough already.

Looking forward to this. Westgate is a damn sight easier to get to than the Henderson one, although I didn't have any issues with the actual click and collection process when I bought things. It was more going to have a look at something as a spur of the moment thing that usually saw me drive to Albany instead.

I saw the original post and wondered where the store was going to be (and I had not looked at the map closely).  When driving in the area last night it was near impossible to miss.

I must be the only person who doesn't mind the location of the current Henderson store. But then again I just rock up on the Vespa and park on the footpath by the front door.😂

Are they moving henderson or is this going to be yet another store? They cant seem to staff the ones they have properly.

I haven't yet been down to that part of Westgate so obviously haven't seen any signage that might say, but it's not listed as coming soon on their locations page yet, and they still have a number of job postings up on their website, they just list "Start Date: ASAP" on those, so no idea sadly.

A few weeks ago my guess would've been before they do any "Black Friday" type sales, but they've been splitting those up over all of November the last few years (including last year when COVID restrictions wasn't a factor).

There were skips outside when I passed a few days ago, which made me think deconstruction of the interior is still going on.  If that is the case, it will still be a few weeks away.
