Looking at a new fire pit, has anyone tried the Solo Stove or Wizard fire pits?. Mitre ten also have a version but couldn’t work out what grade of stainless steel . The solo ones look amazing , the wizard ones look good as well. Budget around 1k max have looked at gas but love the smell of a good fire

True, but you could light a gas one tonight...

In most parts of the country the current fire restrictions make a wood fire pit a non starter, but gas is OK.

Definitely no fire pits at the moment, the neighbour was silly enough to light there’s the fire brigade turned up put it out on the spot. Lucky he got just a warning . I’m getting ready for outdoor autumn mode fires and marshmallows

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Regarding the M10, it's almost certainly 304 SS or similar.  316 would be better, But 316 BBQs  etc are rare.

304 will develop surface-rust in a coastal or coastal adjacent environment.

If you interested there are number of YT videos, in which people have built their own smokeless fire pit.  Not as hard as you might think.

That’s good if it’s 304 for the mitre ten one, the solo is 304 and lifetime warranty which is good. I did consider building one but looking at more of a portable option , for example place it on the patio or at back of section every now and then
