Just a quick question, as the title suggests, who delivers Fedex outside of the main centres where they have their own vans (At least in Wellington they do).

Not many international courier companies do the full delivery in NZ usually handing it over to a local courier company just wondering which company it is as the tracking said this morning "Tendered to authorized agent for final delivery".

Final destination city is Tauranga.

My last 2 parcels from UPS were handled via Fliway then handed to NZ Couriers then onto our Rural driver but this one isn't going to a rural address.
Just curiosity really, often the local company has better tracking than the website, my UPS parcels came via NZ couriers and I could use the UPS tracking number on the NZ couriers website for more up to date detailed tracking.

I might, but it's just curiosity so doesn't really warrant a call I don't think. It will turn up sooner or later.

My condolences if you ever need to get something fedexed to you in that case ;)

It's NZ Couriers here in Whakatane, so it looks like it varies. I should also point out that there isn't a PBT depot or agent here.

Please break this.

Parcels being thrown

Perhaps by tuesday

Any others?

Oh and they still cant manage to find my house despite having a number on both the front of the garage, and the house, and the neighbours house having their number on it too. something to do with going by their GPS with incorrect numbering.

I have never had trouble with them. But it would depend on your location I suspect, as I suspect there are good and bad couriers operating under every brand. I have just had a problem with NZ Post couriers, where they didn't even bother to deliver the product to the address, they just sent it to the post office. APparently they blamed the christmas rush.

I highly doubt fedex would just decide to give it to whoever is cheapest when it turns up. I assume they have contracts for each area of NZ.

Yes, of course they have certain companies they will deal with but they would most likely pick the cheapest or fastest depending on whether you paid extra for priority or not.

Called Fedex, it's been handed over to PBT for final delivery, hopefully it arrives safely!

Edit: And the tracking number works on the PBT website, much better than Fedex tracking once it's in NZ as it seems to be more detailed and updated more regularly.
