Hmmm, back to FW STD to double check the results I got above
They are correct, best upload speed I've ever had
US attenuation is zero as are some other results which come back with other FW versions, might be a FW bug.

Did the SNR tweak, only setting that worked was -0.5db
Upload speed was boosted even further as was download speed but only slightly.
The SNR tweak has taken me to 17a profile.

Your changes in speed seemed somewhat marginal, as for 17a being slightly better likely your picking up a few bins in DS2

i would be recommending 4 or 8. Likely 8 based on that aus have a much alike FTTN network as us.

Should vectoring be turned on, you will be set for that too.

Just to pick out on your point about attenuation increase by 2dB, this is normal for 8b to 17a.

My modem doesn't give me very detailed stats, but I've noticed in the last week or so my down/up rates have climbed from around 18M/1M to 22M/1.8M.

The upstream in particular is welcome.

Edit: found more detailed stats page hidden a few menus deep. Looks like I'm on 6.4dB down and 5.7dB up for SNR now with a mere 32.6dB downstream attenuation. :-D

This was the best I ever got on the old DLM.

After it settled it was more like 24.5mb down, 1.1mb up.

The new DLM has given about 50% more upload right now. Very happy.

I see it seems to have changed from 9db to 6db.

Great to see 6dB profiles coming in now, shows that lines are picking up the other benefits of ddDLM.

particularly for longer lines, the drop in snr and less crosstalk (from more close lines going to 17a with lower power) will be the larger benefit

Looking at my line, it too as jumped down to 6dB, i wonder if another switch got turned on last night..

seeing a as expected increase in US0 speed for 9dB to 6dB.

Unsure of how my adsl line is doing as i don't have visibility to that from here.

I had a reasonable download speed upgrade a couple of days ago to go from 23MB to 27.7MB. It would be nice to get a bit more upload speed as that dropped from 1.1MB to 1.0MB but since I'm 1.2KM from the exchange I can't really complain.
