MU_U as well as KIT_G would have been one of those that failed too?

MU_U was successful last night - all looks OK.
Neither KTI_G doesnt have the vectoring capable cards in it, so is not part of the current rollout.

Thank you - I have a DV130 on MU_U which I don't see any changes on - it is running M4 firmware rather than M8, but does state 'vectoring support'.

Has anyone got a DV130 with Vectoring enabled yet to confirm if it does display the 'vectoring active' on the dashboard screen like the 2760 etc does?

KIT_G, not KTI_G sorry

Have been reading this thread with interest; and note that my local cabinet SPE_G was supposed to gain Vectoring last night between 2300-0600L.

Whilst I cannot tell specifically weter this has happened i did witness changes to my profile overnight - moved from 8B to 17A.  Is this an expected change when vectoring is enabled?

I run a Draytek DV130 as indicated in the pre and post screenshots below.

Pre Vectoring:

--snipped image

Post Vectoring:

Sync really hasnt changed much - upstream maybe a little boost - but I had hoped for more!

Cheers,

Dave

Apologies, something was not quite right with this DSLAM.  Please check again now.

Thanks BMarquis -  I have just run a remote speedtest - and that didnt demonstrate any improvement - will check the CLI when I get in later.  Should a reboot be necessary - or leave alone?

No need to reboot.
Note that vectoring will only give you an improvement where your line is impacted by crosstalk. SPE_G has a relatively low number of VDSL services, so in your case the benefit will be longer term - you wont get as much of a reduction in sync rate as users move from ADSL to VDSL on that cabinet.

Happy to see what our network thinks of your line - just PM me your address.

yeah sorry, we both had typos with that cabinet name :)
If you PM me the address, I can check to see what our network thinks is going on.

I've got vectoring on here now.

Download speed has dropped by about 15% (24Mbps to 21Mbps)

Upload speed has increased by about 10% (1.36Mbps to 1.49Mbps)

This suits me fine, as I'm really wanting more upload bandwidth.

We see approx 15% variance on a given line whenever they resync.
Based on the sync rates, I'd say vectoring is not helping you at all, and the change in sync rates is just normal variation.

Could be, I've been monitoring it, and will continue to do so.

I'll let you know if anything noteworthy happens.

as brent said, this is within the margin of error to be honest.

would not surprise me if the dip you have seen is a move from 8b to 17a.

Hey guys, I see that my exhange is booked in for today ( I even saw a chorus van parked outside the box on my way to work this morning) is the change over immediate or does the effect take a few days?

Depends if it's a line card swap or they are actually switching it on.

I can confirm (many thanks to BMarquis) that I have a DV130 which was running 3.8.1.2 m4 which did have Vectoring enabled on it last night - there is nothing in the UI at all to tell you that Vectoring is active. Running the 'vdsl status' command doesn't give any new info, still the [with Vectoring support] note as before.

I just flashed it with 3.8.2 m8 to check - same thing. So there is no nice green 'vectoring active' note on the dashboard for the DV130.
