Does the GWN7062E allow the 2.4Ghz and 5GHz SSIDs to have different names and have band steering disabled? Can it be manually set to broadcast on the DFS channels?
The support and documentation for Grandstream devices is disappointing. I went with GWN7062 with an access point GWN7604. It's got more features than GWN7062E. I have a couple of SSIDs and VLANs with one for IOT on 2.4Ghz band. I do not know what DFS channels means. I never needed to look into it.
DFS channels are parts of the 5Ghz spectrum wifi defers to other uses when detected such as radar. Some routers won't use those channels when in Automatic frequency selection mode and some routers and other devices won't allow their use at all.

7062E(T) Manual says you can have multiple SSIDs and choose what band each of those will be using. not sure about DFS.
curious about your use case with DFS channels, though... like why? wifi congestion, perhaps? just that even if you were to use it, your network will be lower in priority to radar use, if you happen to be in such an area.
