To whom it may concern: BOF->UFB conversion will start in April.

Hi everyone

Great news – and just confirming what a few others have already said – Chorus have confirmed that we’ll be able to provide our awesome Snap UFB services (check out our current plans here) into BOF subdivisions as of 1st April 2013, so less that 50 days to go until you’re finally free to choose providers!! Keep checking back here as we’ll be launching a red hot promo closer to the time!!

Cheers ^AL

Some people will never be happy...

Xnet can still provide service in BOF areas.

Sign up with Xnet for 1 month and then break contract to switch to Snap? Otherwise, live for 1 month with no phone or Internet? I do apologise, but I don't find either of those two options very appealing..

Why would you need to dump Xnet?

UFB will obviously see these subvisions move to the UFB wholesale pricing rather than the BoF pricing which differs significantly due to the different product offersings.

There are no  contracts on the new WxC plan, you'll only pay the $199 installation fee and then no disconnection fee, don't know if the new provider would charge you a churn fee afterwards though.
