Current usagePrevious usage

this is generated by 3 children and 2 adults. Streaming content like youtube and tvnz on demand accounts for about half the download and the other half is private torrents of our favorite tv shows and documentary etc. the upload is almost purely seeding said torrents. Yes, we have a headless box in the shed that runs 24/7 plus an htpc , desktop game box, 2 laptops and a Wii which are used regularly. Bigtime is perfect for us for the same reason everyone else liked it...

Will miss big time. 3 teenage kids and Mum and Dad enjoy the net. I hope Telecom can come up with something usable. Will not stay with telecom on principle as we were also kicked off 'go large' unless there is a clear advantage in staying. Will also switch homeline.

If you're going to give us the details from a usage meter, can you please post a picture or something instead? It's painful to try and 'extract' the information from your posts :)

It's pretty easy to follow...

Surely some ISP will step up to grab these lost customers? Or maybe we are all unwanted Money mouth

I live in an apartment with another young male.

We generally use between 7 to 10 gigs per month, with only once having gone over our cap of 15 (did 17 that month).

So not really that much.

Flat of three twentysomethings...
We normally use between 60 - 80 GB per month on Telecom Big Time.
Apart from the month that my partner decided the speeds were to slow and changed us to the 20GB Adventure plan... which we capped in two and a half days :(  and then quickly changed back to Big Time :)

High users, not quite as excessive as some of my colleauges who were trying to download the internet and managed about 200 - 300GB per month in the first few months Big Time was out.
