Inspired by a question in Telecom Big Time plan removal discussion, I am posting here my average Internet usage... Either a screenshot, or numbers - but no Photoshop folks:

I am on TelstraClear cable... What about you?

I can't check my usage from Uni cause my log-in details are on my laptop at home,
but I can safely say I use bout 100-120GB a month on Big Time plan.

We run a computer and 2 laptops off it so I'd say thats reasonable for a family of 6.
I'm the large downloader of the household though; however, my siblings do enjoy watching youtube.

Still haven't logged into the Telecom website, don't even know the password so heres my smoothwall's figures for my current usage this month:

Month: 13.5 GB / 61.7 GB (Out / In)

So add 33% and ill come out around 100GB's in total.

The sad thing is with Big Time gone its going to be more costly backing up my NZ VPS.

I'm on the Big Time Plan with Telecom (soon to be cancelled) and even since I started using it, I used between 50GB - 70GB per month.

When I was on the Vodafone 20GB Plan, unfortunately the family (5 internet users) used 40GB per month. :-(

about 45-60GB a month on a 60GB plan. Would probably use more if a plan allowed it.

Stupid that no ISP's offer affordable larger cap plans

While on Go Large/Big Time, I always tried to keep the usage under 100GB. Over the past year, I've managed to do that without even trying. Now I'm going to have to cut the usage down by 80%, and try to manage other peoples internet usage too.

On Orcon, I stick to my cap somehow of 10GB and max it out - occasionally pay for extra 5gb.
When I was with Xnet, 60GB wasnt uncommon.

Working on a Calendar Month basis

May 2010 - 25GB
April 2010 - 44GB
March 2010 - 32GB

I don't think my traffic is huge - compared to some people doing 130-140GB a month! thats just mental and screams dodgy!

Thats on Xnets Fusion (VFX)

On Xnet Fusion I'm averaging 40 - 50GB / mo. And I work online all day.

[Edit]
I should also add that this includes my Mozy backups and 2 VFX phone lines usage.

Month goes from the 21 to the 22, so still a day or so left on May, all in GB. In a flat of 6 so interent does get well used!. Have Orcon basic (I think, whatever the 5gb and phone is) with a 100GB data pack. Performs well, works well.

May 94.44
April 107.72
March 105.69
February 100.64
January 96.41
