I've also been in the situation where I'm telling the tech what he needs to do to fix the problem and where to do it.
This seems quite a common line from a lot of the posters on here......
Why call them to "fix" your issues if you have the "skills" to fix them yourself, you seem to have a better knowledge and understanding of the copper network than the "monkeys" you have over to look at your fault or provision your new line.....you can save some $$$ on wiring maintenance and you would do a far better job by the sound of it.......
