Does anyone know where I can find some info on the history of NZ's copper network? Like when it was first built, etc... wikipedia has?Telecom's?history but this really starts from the 90's when it was state owned and doesn't go into detail on history of the network before this time.

InternetNZ commissioned a history of the internet in New Zealand. Most of what you'll be looking for should be in there once the internet itself came along...

is the online version of it.
