would you guys recommend using this

to convert it to the normal bt socket, or is there a compatible modem / all in one cable to get me set up

If it's just RJ45 sockets patched into the phone line, RJ11/RJ12 (think DSL modem cable) plugs plug straight in.

andrewNZ: If it's just RJ45 sockets patched into the phone line, RJ11/RJ12 (think DSL modem cable) plugs plug straight in.

Best not to use RJ11/12 cable in a RJ45 structured cabling socket as they can potentially damage the outer pins; then you will have issues using that port for data in future.

Do you want me to send you an RJ45 plug?? I'm not selling RJ45 to RJ11 cables anymore but easy to make one. The modem cable goes into the middle pins of the RJ45.
