I have not used ManyCam before. I see there is a new version out.

I like to set it up for a non technical user with a default background and have it work with skype forever without any need for turning it on or off etc. Is that straightforward?

Any reasons to avoid it completely?
Does it work well with skype?
Any comments on the free/pro option?
Any other problems or configuration issues worth noting?


The machine runs office, skype, chrome and very little else.



I may be using the same thing on Mac so any comments on that version also appreciated.
