Not sure exactly where to post this query but I think this must be the right place. I am looking for a Windows program with a timer function that can handle late-night downloads for me and then go offline when finished, either by blocking Internet access or shutting down the computer. I'm not certain what to search for that might incorporate both of these functions (timer download and computer shutdown on completion) so would appreciate any suggestions.

Try DAP - Download Accellerator Plus

Used it regularly years ago.
