From their FAQ:

Q: I'm having trouble with Flash running in some browsers, what's the most reliable browser to use?

A: We've found the most reliable way it to use Windows XP in a Virtual Machine (vmware is free - link) and Internet explorer 7. You'll have to disable all windows updates but this should provide the most reliable platform to use SkyGo.

No wonder I've been having problems! Skys recommendation is far easier that what I've been trying to do too. However it worked alright in

Dosbox, Running Windows for Workgroups 3.11, Netscape Navigator 3.04.

Gets the odd bit of buffering on my fibre connection, about every 90 seconds.
