Hi.

I am having a crazy annoying issue that started in the past few weeks.

I have a PC with 3 Screens, every several seconds, if I am using one of the two outer screens, from time to time (regularly but I have never timed how often or the interval) I'll be typing away and the focus will shift to the active window of the middle (primary) monitor which is super frustrating.

Has anyone seen or know of updates which might have caused that? It doesn't seem to matter what is on the middle screen.

I am running Windows 10 Pro 1909

I had this, nothing was coming back on Malware scans and I figured my PC was due a clean build of Windows (was an upgrade from Win 8 to 8.1 then Win 10). No issues since.

That's depressing to be honest. I do not want to rebuild my OS right now. I think I'll start with a clean start up and see how I go.

I am so busy right now, more "work" doesn't really feel like something I want to undertake.

@jogre I think I found the cause of my issue.

A while ago I turned on the ransomware protection part of windows 10 to try it out. I suspect that one of the apps trying to get permission to access my documents folder, or one of it's counterparts in video etc, was having issues accessing it, like dropbox etc, and this was causing focus to move to the primary screen etc.

I have been through and reviewed access for a number of (trusted) apps and the issue hasn't recurred since.
