On trademe I see sellers for 2k$ (but that doesn't mean they will ever get it sold, could just be someone who's saying "if someone were to want to pay that high then I could upgrade"), but the one I have listed on facebook at 1780$ everyone is trying to tell me that it's worth "1k$ max". trying to figure out the right price to sell it asap

Previous TradeMe listings are your best benchmark but it looks like the prices are all over the place

They are selling that high due to AI demand. 24GB of vram is worth a lot to those people. Auction it off if you’re not sure of it’s value, fb marketplace will undoubtedly low ball you.

+1 for running a Trademe Auction, set the start price at the minimum you will take and let the market decide from there

normally my standards of ethics forbids me from funding a monopoly by playing huge amount of money to an evil company just for hosting a simple website,

but it seems that for 1$ auctions it's actually free, so I think I will do that after all, thanks for the idea

The listing may be free, but if it sells for more than $1, the success fee is 7.9% (capped at $499)

Just wait until Trademe offer the free selling days (typically Sundays).

You don't have to pay any success fee for these, which is the only time that I list stuff for sale on Trademe that I'd rather not sell via marketplace.
