robax: They're meant to be just over US $600 off contract at Microsoft stores.. that would be fine, but we'll have to see if it pans out.


that's probably not right i think

the Lumia 925 is US$625 here for an unlocked one with International LTE bands

saw some reports of problems with the camera somewhere. Now I have to find the actual evidence of same to provide here.!!
From my memory which can be a bit flakey it was to do with Low light which was supposed to be its strong point!!

Is there any reason this phone won't be bought to NZ officially?

 

I guess we just have to wait.  This vs HTC One is a tough choice, although to tell the truth I don't really use my cellphone camera that much (maybe because it currently is a pile of crap Gnex)

Expecting to ship the 1020 in the 1st week of Sept at a cost of 490 UK Pounds without VAT.

They cannot now confirm delivery in 1st week in Sept as they were notified yesterday.
Offering to keep order as is or a refund. 
Sounds like they are hoping it wont be far off

Further email from Cloke UK overnight saying delivery not likely in early Sept as first indicated. They have no further update as to likely arrival in UK.
