Yes we announced this morning that Telecom will have the Nokia Lumia 1020, for $1149 from the last week of September

Awesome news! Since you are holding it, I hope you get to take it home :-)

I hope it sells really well. If I didn't already have the 920 I would buy it, but hard to justify spending that much for the same size screen. I will most likely wait for a 5" version. Hope that is out by early next year!

Also good news about 625 becoming available.

Lumia 625 $499 currently only on Telecom, but Vodafone will also have in a month. Cheapest 4G handset in NZ AFAIK

Lumia 925 32GB model, $999 on Vodafone from Oct 1

Lumia 1020 $1149 on Telecom from end of September

yikes... what am I going to do!! Don't want to spend that sort of money only a year after the 920, but going to have a hard time stopping myself!

Me too. Ive been using android a few years now and originally had iphones.
Currently have a Galaxy Note 1.
Im a keen photographer so that is my main reason for going for the 1020.
As a side I have both an asus android tablet plus a asus windows rt tab
