Haha Bill gates, gotta thank you man. Warehouse circulars just stated introductory price for the 720 is $500, saved us quite a decent amount of money with your insider info :)

Yeah Mischief, I read above the SD card troubles
Ordered one from ebay, I think it's a class 4. Hopefully it'd work well with the 720.

Dunno about the rest of you lumia 720, but really loving the battery life on it so far.

Loving the new feel of WP8. Having some issues with accessing SkyDrive via Office App though. However, I have a sneaky suspicion it's operator error.

Have found a few dodgy apps so far, but they are easily disposed off. (unlike android)

One issue I have noticed, is using Dropbox, I have opened a photo, only to get a warning that my browser doesn't support that file, and I need to update to latest version.

Other problem is trying to get all my old contacts off android, as BT is garbage (has never worked) on old phone. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this?

Forgot to mention, ended up going with a 32GB Class10 card. My readings indicated that this is the preferred card for HD video recording. Thought I might as well make the most of the camera abilities

Having checked out Outlook.com and decided I love it I'm seriously considering a 720, any suggestions on the best place to buy one?

Currently there don't seem to be many around.

Warehouse have only the yellow ones @ $499, Parallel Imported don't have them yet, but they can't be far away. Price quoted was $470.

Am I missing something here? The 820 is $10 cheaper through Expansys!!! Surely, that should be the deal of the century? Maybe the 1GB of ram, better proc and camera is balanced out by the worse battery. Still 512 MB is going to lose out on a few apps in the store as more of them list 1gb as a minimum to work.

The camera on the Lumia 720 is better than the 820 and that includes both back and front. The display, battery, build quality and weight is also better on the 720. There are like 7 apps out of the 150,000 apps available in the store that need 1GB RAM. And most of these apps will be cleaned and optimized to run on 512MB RAM.

If you are going to buy electronics specially smartphones, just don't choose Fed-Ex. My phone has been stuck in Singapore for last 3 days. They sure do hate Li-ion batteries.

Haha that's funny! My phone got sent using the budget TOLL option, and I have it here, charging up the battery now. The manual is all in Chinese, so apart from the location of things like the Headphone Jack, SIM and USB, I'm none the wiser. I'm sure there will be a manual somewhere on the web that I can download.

The first thing that struck me is the clarity of the screen. The text is just as clear as my wife's Kindle, but of course is white on black instead of the other way around. The "ClearBlack" display certainly means what it says.

I just received an email from expansys. They have convinced Fed-Ex and requested them to released the package sitting in Singapore. I got a call from Fed-Ex. Should be on it's way to NZ on a plane tonight. I will get the delivery only on Monday now.

My cousin also ordered his phone the same day as me via Toll and got his delivered last night. I went with Toll as well and did not even ask for the fed-ex upgrade. Expansys just gave it to me because I had rung them.

So what it was in the end is that NZ Customs wanted to know what type of battery (make and model)is inside the package and how is it placed? i.e inside the phone (uni body) or separate accessory inside the box. Expansys had to issue another invoice with a clear description of the batter make and model and they sent it to Fed-Ex who then sent it to Customs in NZ. Now waiting for Customs to approve and then it goes on the plane to Auckland ASAP.

Bugger! Sorry to hear that. So much stuffing around over what must be a routine kind of shipment for FedEx.

I have my phone connected via WiFi and have been playing with a whole lot of stuff. It's a very cool toy and all the online help is so good, I don't need a manual. Now to get the SIM tray open and pop in my new 2D micro-SIM...

Hmmm...seems MobiCity are priced similarly as well.....820 is cheaper than the 720

It should do as it works in the case of Nokia Lumia 920. Lumia 720 has Gorilla Glass 2 btw.
