lueyyou:DuncanMcC: what apps? - ANZ, BNZ, Westpac, Trademe, Metservice, supermarkets, petrol stations, Teamviewer - just a few straight off the top of my head.
They don't have any mate.
Ummm are you kidding mate?
As said previously all the banks have mobile sites which pretty much have the same functions as an app. I use the Kiwibank mobile site all the time. There's even a NZ specific app for supermarkets and petrol stations and public toilets!!
I think Apple and Android have brain washed people into the idea of more apps is best since apps make them loads of money. But seriously I use maybe 2 or 3 apps on a daily basis and all the rest of them are free on my Windows Phone. Apart from a few time waster games I've never felt like my Windows Phone lacked any apps I need.
No not kidding. Perhaps websites/apps are not good examples - indeed, they're not. It's more hardware support.
You buy a new TV, you can probably control it via an app for iPhone or Android - bet you can't get a WP app though.
So it's that kind of thing that's poorly supported.
WP app for Sqeezebox?, Sonos? - definately not the later, I checked.
Yesterday, I setup a new D-Link modem/router, you can control it remotely via your Smartphone - but not a Windows Phone - no app available.
