Just be very careful with upgrading Telecom ROM, there is a thread on how to here. Have to follow it to the T otherwise you go crying off to no service.

Unbelievable... I was literally about to reflash my replacement phone when this post came in. I will wait a while longer.
It has been quite frustrating with the stock TNZ WM5 ROM - I miss the GPS, the threaded SMS conversations and the reliability that I had with WM6.1 (especially with regard to synchronisation - I seem to have to restart Active Synch on my phone quite often as it locks up).

Telegistics seem to think that this will also fix the no EVDO issue for those of us who were early ROM updaters (i.e. before anyone knew about the HDR Auth).

Will be interesting to see if they are correct.

Perhaps you have a Titan, and not a Touch? The Touch has only ever had Windows Mobile 6, while the Titan has only had Windows Mobile 5.

Ok, so the obvious question is.......how do we get a copy of this rom??  Will it be released as a downloadable link?  I have stable 6.1rom at the moment, but would be keen to go to an official telecom rom that gives me all the same features.

Doh. Sorry WM6 - I was thinking of my previous phone which was an Apache (which I think got upgraded too but that was a long time ago). The same comments still stand though. I have all sorts of grief synching with my Okta as it is.

Whose product pages?  Any chance you can supply a link to those pages?

Telegistics told me last week that it would be "early this year" so I doubt you will get a date out of them.

It would be awesome for telecom to release it to the public. I know most the American providers do, but so far i havent seen an update from telecom for any of their handsets that didn't require $55 and a two week holiday to telegistics

Hi,

The usual familiar process will be available (return to Telegistics).

However, surprise, Download-And-Install yourself is a distinct possibility, but not confirmed.

There's been some great work happening recently.

TNZ have done exactly that with the Apache, so it's not like it won't happen, hopefully they do offer it to the public through.
