I recently switched from years of Horde to Alliance. My guild from Planetside has an Oceanic division on Alliance.
Originally when I restarted Wow a month or two ago in order to level for WoD I leveled a Warrior but I'm now leaning towards my character boosted hunter.

I got Monday off from work to recover from the Xmas party and to play more WoW.

I'm keen to see how garrisons affect the game.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.

I took 10 days off starting tomorrow. Lucky for me I have a very understanding boss. As soon as I applied for leave he said 'Expansion dropping then?' Lol. Blizz kind of wrecked my Arms Warrior but I'm keen to give Gladiator Stance a try so I guess it'll be him first. Then maybe my Rogue. Super excited to mess around with Garrisons too!

Oh good. Someone else who doesn't like the new Arms playstyle. I have three Arms warriors that will be switching to Fury as soon as they get some new weapons in the expansion.

I took a week off when Mists launched. I am jobless as this expansion drops so time off is not an issue...

Yeah Arms is a joke right now. I've used in-game vehicles with more abilities than my Warrior. >.> It's quite telling when guys like Swifty and Bajheera complain so vocally. They're usually quite Pro-Blizzard but after the lastest Arms changes, both of them were very vocally bitching. Bajheera still wrecks in BG's but he always makes sure to point out that his ability to go 24/0 comes at the expense of having 3 pocket healers running after him spam-healing him. Oh well. My Warrior has survived yeeeeears of Nerf/Buff/Nerf/Nerf - I will adapt. :)

On the upside, I hear rumours that it only takes about 6 hours of dedicated gameplay to get to 100 so hopefully you won't be missing out for too long when you do manage to find time to play :)

If the EU servers are anything to go by, the launch is gonna be nuts. Thinking I might wait an hour or two before I try and take any of my toons through the dark portal. They will all be logged on asap to start rest XP flowing though :D

Been seriously considering resubbing to play some WoW.

Last played Burning crusade and have a 65 tauren shaman on Blackrock.

It is any fun solo/pugging?

Used to be raiding 2-3 times a week doing MC/BWL/Onyxia and AQ40 - not really interested in that stuff any more.

The new expansion gives you an awful lot to do both solo and in groups. If you resub you will get all the expansions you missed for free and if you upgrade your account to Warlords you can boost a char to level 90 and start playing the new content right away. The choice is your as to how you want to proceed :)

I'm on Nagrand Horde side #tabutinz6848 chuck geekzone in the note, be good to play with some peps!

Can't decide between DK, Pally, Shaman, Warrior or Hunter

Probably DK or shaman as everyone loves a healer!

Was in the Beta for a while & that got me to resub after playing that. I think the Garrisons are pretty cool. Especially if you have a few characters with them up and running.

@ 100 I will mostly LFR & PVP along with pet battles :) . Can't find the time to set aside to raid properly. The changes to LFG are great. You will be able to do the Flex raiding within that & also pvp group queue with it too :)

so turns out the EU servers already handed out the first ban for someone "exploiting" there way up to lvl 99 too quickly.

reportedly by handing in turtle meat on timeless isle - the repeatable quest,

and that a german has legitamly hit lvl 100 within a few hours of it going live.

Just got home. Launch is 4.5 hours away and my realm (Stormrage) is already full!
