Anybody else still playing WoW and looking forward to Thursday? I've been on and off again for a few years now but this expansion had a lot of cool features and a lot of lore I'm pretty excited about. Just wish I could settle on which class to level first since the Warrior nerfs. Pandaria was pretty, but felt completely out of place for me so I'm really looking forward to getting back to good old fashioned WoW.

So what faction are you and what class will you be playing?

I will definitely be playing, though not sure if I will jump straight in to Draenor at 9pm Thursday night. I mostly play Alliance and the Mists launch was just diabolical for Alliance due to a poor quest design at the start. I hear it may be just as bad this time round.

I will probably start with my Draenei Warrior but if my Horde guild is doing anything major I might level my Tauren DK instead. We shall see :) I have 18 90s spread over both factions so lots of chars to get sorted :) Might spend Thursday night logging them all in to get Rest XP going and sort out anything that I can for their professions.

Best guess is that I will have at least one level 100 before the end of the weekend. Will be fun no matter what I do. Having a Garrosh Heirloom weapon I can swap between a bunch of my characters will be useful :)

I am on Aman'Thul for Alliance and Kul Tiras for Horde (Brumfondl on both, and derivatives thereof, generally).

Hahaha, Brumfondl you sound a bit like me XD *highfive* I have about 12 90's but I only actively play the melee classes (Rogue, Warrior, Druid, DK). I really, really suck at casters. >.> Possible exception being my Mistweaver Monk. I generally PVP, but I've just joined a fairly decent looking guild on Horde side Oceanic server Nagrand, so I may actually try the raiding thing again for the first time since WotLK.

The starter Horde side quests for Pandaria are pretty noisy and awful, I can just imagine what it must have been like on release day. O.o Let's hope Draenor isn't as bad!

So you've done the series of quests in Un'goro Crater where in one you have to rescue the damsel in distress for Maximillian of Northshire?

I admit that the Horde have some brilliant quests, especially if you start as Undead.

I also freely admit that I didn't dig the people out out of the ground...

A friend and I made horde alts a few days ago and discovered Johnny Awesome last night... but haven't finished the questline yet. A "memory spade"? Sounds worrying...

Oh, just you wait, you'll learn about that spade soon enough! Read all the quest text carefully as you go through that line. It's *hilarious*. :)
