Zepanda66:
Ebgames in Aus are saying second shipment consoles will be delivered next week. Wonder if that's the same for us.
I hope so. Like a smart guy, I traded in my X1X already, and the EB Games "Estimated release date" of 31st Dec 2020 is giving me 😞
So, possibly a dumb question but...
I got 2 AA batteries with the controller with my Xbox Series X which I inserted. Do I need to put rechargeable ones in if I want to be able to charge using the USBC or does the controller have an internal battery on top? Or do I need to go and get a charge and play pack like prior generations?
ShinyChrome: And still waiting...
Good thing CP2077 was delayed until December then! Watching some of the Xbox gameplay on CD:PR's YouTube channel, it is quite obvious how much frame rate difference there is between the One X/Series X, especially in the more intensive driving scenes
Haven't heard much more feedback from launch day buyers... I'm guessing you folks are all so quiet because you are busy gaming haha
Most retailers seem to be saying sometime around December 15th from what I hear. But still nothing from EBgames...Gonna be annoyed if other retailers get it Dec 15 but ebgames doesn't. Someone on FB was saying they know for a fact that EBgames have been guaranteed a December series x shipment so there's that.... I guess EB don't want to publicly announce any date in case they have a delay with the shipment.

Does the xbox series x support remote play on a Win10 device?
The little things make the biggest difference.

ShinyChrome: One of the Eneloop Pro batteries + quick charger kits or the regular version is a fantastic investment for controllers I have found.
Never been of fan of using regular batteries, and ones you can't recharge!
I bought these kits on launch day. The length of USB cable allows you to carry on playing like convention, remote on a wire!!!

Anyone seen or heard of a special on an Xbox Series X Controller? Or Play and Charge kits? I don't like AA Batteries.
So when the controller states it's chargable via USB-C quickly, it requires additional gear? Batteries or Play and Charge packs?

Last question, so if the new console is completely compatible with the old controllers, then in theory I could just use those with the kits I have, or transfer the kits to the new controllers?
As far as I can tell, the only difference is the share button functionality, which I certainly don't use and won't miss.
Am I correct on either or both counts?
