Got the call from EB this morning on my Series X pre-order.

Just picked up mine after a call this morning. Interesting that they said that I had 48 hours to pick it up or you lose the console and need to get another one assigned later on.

Anyone after the expansion is currently down to $338 on mighty ape. Alternatively pb tech have a Samsung SSD you could use in an enclosure for $130, obviously that won't be as good as the official expansion card as you can't run actual next gen games off of it, but it is $200 less for playing anything from the backwards compatible side or just a storage dump.

Tempted to put my Xbox Series X up for sale.

The kids do nothing but argue over it (fortnite) , I have no time to play it.

Just wondering if there is any point getting the X if just hooking it up to a 1080 Projector?

I guess the extra storage would be nice.

The X will generally do 60fps performance mode so will perform a lot better than the S.

Also the S doesn't have a drive so you can't buy cheaper second hand games or even just new games that are discounted as digital games take a very long time to get a discount.

If you could actually get the X in stock at RRP, I'd say it is worth it. You could always hit up @shindig and see if they actually want to follow through with the threat of removing it from their kids haha

On the other hand, the S is more than capable at 1080p/60fps and actually available to buy today, if you can deal with the lack of storage.

Not sure if anyone watched the Xbox and Bethesda roundtable. Essentially if they aren't locked in to a contract to release elsewhere all new Bethesda titles will be exclusive on platforms with game pass. Not surprising really but they've at least now confirmed it. Definitely made this generation more interesting now they spent $7.5 billion to try and fix their exclusives problem.

Does anyone know of a dual charging station compatible with the new controllers with the v2 Plug and Charge Kit?

The only ones I can find are ones where the batteries are replaced with the ones included with the charging station.

I bought a Series S today basically as a gamepass machine. Performance seems decent and form the price is well.worth it.

I've got to say I am really pleased with the Series S. I know it's not as good as the Series X but for the money it's superb value and a really nice experience.

PS5 will probably be my main console but this does tempt me to get a Series X for the big TV.
