Hi,

Sorry to jump in here, but just a sugestion before you reinstall windows

As you removed your graphics drivers the resolution of your window system possibly dropped to 800x600.

If you change this to 1024x768 or higher, you should be able to complete the driver install

You can change this by starting windows, right clicking on a blank portion of your desktop and select properties. You should be able to adjust the slider to a higher resolution

Thanks but too late...I'm beyond the point of no return lol

ripdog: How many partitions/drives were there? Was there an error message telling you why Windows can't be installed to this partition?

I think I may have ballzd it all up:

I saw two drives, each being the same size. Windows alerted it could not install onto either so I deleted both...

Uh, yeah, I warned you about that...

So you just wiped two drives. Now select the one you want to install windows to, and click New. The default size should be good.

Do the same for the other drive, otherwise it won't be usable.

Select the partition for the boot drive you just made, and it should let you continue.

If not, tell us the error message.

So you should be able to select that and hit New, then Apply/Accept.

Unallocated space is unusable space - it means that there isn't a partition there, and all data on a drive *must* be inside a partition.

Make another partition on the other drive, then attempt to install on the first. Does it work?

Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu.

Eh? If it's unallocated space, there is no way windows can be installed to it, so there shouldn't be an error at all.

Have you tried making a partition there with the New button? Or is that not available?

There is only that Disk 0. I can't any other drives

You told me you had two drives. Whatever, you only need one. Can you make a partition? You can't continue with an unallocated drive.

Ok, I clicked on the 'advanced set up' then had access to 'new' and did as you suggested. I now see 3 partitions (I just clicked yes to what windows suggested).

Partition 1 Total size-100.0 MB Free Space-95.0 MB System

Partition 2 Total size-128.0 MB Free Space-128.0 MB MSR (Reserved)

Partition 3 Total size-111.6 GB Free Space-111.6 GB Primary

Windows cannot be installed to either of them however, Format option is available for 1st & 3rd Partition...

Should I go ahead and Format both?
