I use a Dobe controller stand connected to a Ugreen charger. I don't think the ps4 controllers charge when they are connected to anything "smart" they just want 5V

Slightly OT, however, does anyone else have trouble charging their PS4 Controllers and accessories with anything other than the USB port of their PS4? I have a number of smart chargers, not one of them will charge the PS4 controller?

I charge the controllers using a NYKO charge station without any issues. IIRC PS4 controllers only like 5V 0.8/0.9 A and won't charge if the charger provides higher amps. Seems rather strange.

Haven't played the new one. Most recent one I played was inside Uncharted 4 🤣

As per my earlier posts, I am totally blown away how much better later games in this series are. I enjoyed all the modern versions of this game. I still have the last one to play. I got a bit TR'd out as I played 3 of the games in quick succession.

The only thing I find with this series, is that there isn't really any sense of "need" to collect collectables as I did with Spiderman and Batman games. The solving puzzles in Batman was pretty satisfying, though I never got them all.

I played the first of the modern "remakes" or "retakes" or whatever one wants to call them and finished it.  That was great. Started the second but really got bored because I just got tired of how large some of the maps were and how "out of the way" one has to go to collect even most of the collectibles and so forth. Yes, I agree with you that often it's not critical to get all the items but they do add a bit of context. Missing out on too much just spoils the game but when the game makes it a total chore to get all the stuff, it's... just a chore.

In this respect, the third is a massive improvement upon the second. Things are tighter and better woven gameplay-wise. I would say I typically have located between 80 to 90% of the documents + relics without absolutely going out of my way using a methodical but by-no-means retentive approach. The game also rewards you for doing side missions with "natural" discoveries. All up, this leads to much better game pacing. I just got to the final level but will polish off all the challenge tombs + final crypts first and then that will be it for me. I love games that are enjoyable pacing-wise and doesn't literally leave you feeling like you have to consult a game guide every 20 seconds to "discover" all the stuff strewn around.

Give it a whirl!

I am totally torn on whether to pre-order Watch Dogs Legion for Wednesday delivery. I have "sort" of enjoyed the others, but this looks a bit...Manic or disorganized? I probably prefer a bit more structure in my games than some others (for example I hate games that don't have at least approximate markers for tasks and want you to spend hours exploring and "hope" you'll find it) and being able to do anything and everything becomes confusing or something akin to that but not exactly that.

Nothing, not playing anything at the moment. With just over 2 weeks until the PS5 arrives I'm hanging out for some next gen action. There's a few games in my backlog which will get a PS5 upgrade so I'm hanging on for that before I fire them up.

One went on here for $350 the other day.  That feels about right for a Pro.

Yes - but SSD upgrade in this case. And two controllers.

Playing Bordelands 3 DLCs at the moment:

Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot - Done
Psycho Krieg - Done
Guns, Love, and Tentacles - Still going

I've now decided to buy another lens for our camera kit instead of a PS5, for now (with approval from the CFO).

I might just look at upgrading the old PS4 to a PS4 pro (haven't run this past the CFO yet though!)
